Assessment of Raisins Byproducts for Environmentally Sustainable Use and Value Addition

This study investigated the potential and sustainable use of biomass derived from various stages grape drying process. A total eleven byproducts, each containing varying organic materials, were produced subjected to testing. Ultimate analysis, as well analyses heating values, chemical composition, lignocellulose solids concentration biogas production performed with recommended criteria assessment methods. The results reveal that carbon (C), nitrogen (N), hydrogen (H), oxygen (O) levels significantly different among byproducts. ash content byproducts 5–11 ranged 3.56 5.11%, which was lower than estimated values in other analysis higher value showed calorific for 10 11 (22.73 ± 0.08 22.80 0.07 MJ kg−1, respectively).
